I procured one of these beasts a few months back. Absolutely revolutionised my diet, made my skin glow and transformed me into a right poofter.

Re: Nutribullet
They're different companies, Boots. The Ninja is a copy but a lot of reviews say it's more hardcore, as in it can crush whole ice cubes which apparently the Nutribullet struggles with.

Re: Nutribullet
Buster, I may be wrong but I believe the Ninja and the Bullet are made by the same company.

The Ninja is very blokish, made out of metal and the Bullet is more aesthetic to look at.

Both do the same job

Re: Nutribullet
My missus got the Nutribullet

One of the boys went on a health kick and devided ha wanted one but couldn't be arsed to pay for Nutribullet so bought a Ninja one

Fast forward 1 week he"d taken the Ninja back and bought a Nutribullet

We've also got a Heston juicer which was fucking expensive and now doesnt get used

I fully expect the Nutribullet to be in the "Dead appliance' cupboard within 6 months!

Also we got a soup maker (yeah thats right a fucking soup maker!) Yesterday

Guess we're gonna need a bigger cupboard

Re: Nutribullet
I've been using a 'sports blender' instead. I was looking at the Nutribullet but thought I'd see how I went first. This one cost a third of the price and because you eat the whole fruit/veg rather than discarding the solid stuff there is no mess, no cleaning and I do use it every day. I know there are arguments both ways, but it's worked for me every day for three months so far and I don't even feel pressurised into using it because it was only about £30 and it takes up no space. One thing I have started doing for every other blend is to make 4/5 of the bottle with pure veg/fruit, and make up the other fifth with coconut water and blend again. Makes it more liquidy. Also the bottles on the thing I have fit into the bottle holder on a bike, if that interests you at all. At weekends I just eat the fruit and veg rather than blending it because there is time and eating is a good thing, really.

Dunno
I do know that any thing you juice should only be 20% fruit. The rest should be veg

Sugar is sugar . there is no such thing as good sugar

The missus wants one of these but I'm thinking of getting her a Nutri NINJA instead. Anyone tried one of those or is this Nutribullet thing the way to go?

Talk to me, you kale and spinach blending NANCY BOYS.

PS: What's the difference btw this and a juicer? In layman's terms pleaze.

Re: Nutribullet

Preparing food is fucking boring though. Most would agree there are better ways to spend your time.

However, EATING those fruits will (due to the fibre) give a *slower* provision of the nutrients in question. With a Smoothie, your just giving the body a massive, instant sugar blow. It won't like it in the long run.

I think.

Re: Nutribullet
I like mine but not good as a juicer, you use it more for smoothies.

You need to add water or other liquid as it can just end up too dry.

What you're saying is nobody has enough/any control over their own life - they are, in effect an effeminate woosie.

I'd like somebody to explain to me WHY they don't have enough time (or can't be bothered - chances are it'll be the same. pathetic limp-wristed excuse).

Re: Nutribullet
No cunt has the time or can be bothered these days,

That's why this thing is good.

You can lose some of the healthy less tasty stuff in stuff that tastes good. The piece of kit is top drawer, easy to use and clean.

The missus has one but on the few occasions I've dabbled, good bit of kit.

Re: Nutribullet
Smoothies are a nice way of occasionally getting good nutrition down quickly however orverall my thoughts are:
1) Glorified Blender.
2) Eat it if you can, sends the right signals to the brain and you are likely to consume less as a result.
3) They'll be time enough to eat papped up mush when I am in a retirement home.
